What I do when I just can't....

Sometimes, when I have a lot of responsibility looming, all I want to do is escape. That is when I cannot resist getting out the paint brushes. Today, I needed a challenge. I love to paint from real life or photographs but I also enjoy learning from others and this painting tutorial by Joni Young on YouTube did the trick. If you're thinking of painting but have never tried, go to YouTube and find her channel. She has some amazing lessons for beginner to advanced and beyond. Don't worry if it doesn't turn out exactly like hers, it's not supposed to. Art is an expression of you and what you see. Joni's art is an expression of what she sees. Just go for it.
